Establishing a presence in a crowded market
The Client
Summit AC and Heating is a startup business that serves customers in Midlothian and Mansfield, Texas as well as surrounding cities. Summit focuses on HVAC installation and services, repairs, maintenance, and all things heating and cooling. Summit was seeking to develop a recognizable brand and grow its customer pipeline, while establishing itself as a dependable, local business that gave back to the community.
The Challenge
As a startup business in an extremely crowded local market, Summit needed to stand out among the crowd and reach their target audience. They didn’t yet have a brand or recognizable image and their current logo and website needed work. As a seasonal business, Summit needed a plan to continue to build its client base during the slower times of the year.
The Strategy
Brand awareness and a growing customer database were the main goals we wanted to strive for with Summit, and that involved several key marketing initiatives:
- Create a new, more dynamic brand, including a new logo and messaging that better connected with the target audience
- Develop a targeted Google Ads campaign with the goal of increasing website traffic and generating new business
- Apply the new branding to apparel, business cards, and a van wrap for maximum exposure around town
- Establish a social media presence to allow for increased interaction with customers and potential clients
- Polish website copy so customers could better understand their vast array of services and why a particular service might be needed
We also designed and launched a specialized Valentine’s Day giveaway on their Facebook page titled “Share the Love.” The goal was to nominate a local educator who would like to win a free HVAC tune-up by Summit. Weekly posts were generated that announced the contest, along with inspirational posts throughout the month.
The Results
Increased website traffic by 581% and increased unique visitors by 707%. Gained almost 3,000 website clicks through Google Ads in two months.
Garnered perfect reviews on both Facebook (5 out of 5) and Google (5 out of 5 stars)
Increased interaction on Facebook posts by 300%
